Halloween Reading of H.P. Lovecraft’s ‘The Temple’

Listen to H.P. Lovecraft’s The Temple

Growing up, some of my best fall memories were of sitting close to a fire, dog-eared paperback close to my chest, reading the stories of horror spun by H.P. Lovecraft.

Each fall my old friend Quentin Lewis records an audio reading of his favorite H.P. Lovecraft stories. This year he recorded the vintage Lovecraft story, The Temple.

Listen to Quentin’s older readings of The Colour Out of Space, and The Horror at Red Hook.

From Quentin’s blog, When Elvis Died:

[The Temple is] a great story, full of mystery and claustrophobic terror, not to mention WWI era sea combat for all you history buffs out there.
